1. Introduction
- Client Overview: Vivah Seva is an Arya Samaj marriage service. It conducts simple Vedic marriage ceremonies and helps couples with marriage registration — including love, inter-caste, inter-religion and NRI marriages — through clear, published packages.
- Project Objective: The business depended on Google Ads to reach couples searching for a marriage service, but the campaigns were not working. The goal was to make the ads and the website work together — and to do it within the rules that apply to legal and marriage services.
2. Challenge
Marriage is not an ordinary service. It is a legal matter, and anything legal that is advertised online is held to stricter rules — both by the advertising platform and by the law.
The problems we found:
- Google Ads was not working. The account was running into problems because the platform’s advertising policies were not being followed.
- Legal compliance was missing. Other businesses do offer legal services online, but they follow the legal compliances that come with them. This business was not.
- The website was not built for the ads. People clicking an ad did not land on a page designed to answer their question and turn their interest into an enquiry.
- Compliance was not part of the brand. The rules that apply to the service were not reflected in the business’s online visibility or its branding.
3. Strategic Solution
Understanding the case through a legal lens
- Our founder, Shanu Quraishi, also has a background as an advocate. That allowed us to go deep into the client’s case: what the business offers, which rules apply to marriage and registration services, and where the existing setup was falling short.
- We studied how compliant businesses in this space present legal services online, and what separates them from accounts that run into trouble.
Compliance first, then advertising
- Started from the policies — Google’s advertising rules and the government and legal rules for marriage services — before touching the campaigns.
- Made that compliance visible everywhere the business appears online: in the ads, on the website and in the branding, so what the business says stays within the rules.
A website built for Google Ads
- Built the website from the perspective of Google Ads, so every visitor from an ad lands on a page that matches what they searched for.
- Gave each service its own page — Arya Samaj marriage, court marriage registration, love, inter-caste, inter-religion and NRI marriages — instead of sending everyone to one general page.
- Explained the process, the documents required, eligibility and the packages clearly, so couples know what to expect before they enquire.
- Made contact simple, with a booking form plus call and WhatsApp options on every page.
4. Results
- A compliant setup: the ads, the website and the branding now follow the rules that apply to a legal service.
- A website that works with the ads: each service has a focused page built for the people clicking on it.
- The solution worked: once compliance and the website were fixed together, Google Ads started working for the business.
5. Conclusion
For a legal service like marriage registration, marketing cannot start with the ads. It has to start with the rules. By understanding the case through a legal lens, building compliance into the ads, the website and the brand, and giving every service its own page, we turned Google Ads from a problem into a working channel for Vivah Seva.
